Who we are
Anna Schwartzman was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She attended CUNY Brooklyn College and earned a masters degree from Columbia University, where she served as one of the first Lead Teaching Fellows for her department and completed the advanced track of the Teaching Development Program at the Center for Teaching & Learning. After a brief stint of substitute teaching post graduation, her suspicion about general K-12 education was confirmed: even the most prestigious schools lack individualized guidance necessary for maximized student success. With this in mind, she was driven to create Anagram Tutoring, a small company committed to providing the missing piece of the puzzle. With over 10 years of experience supporting students of various needs, learning styles, and backgrounds, Anna is confident in her ability to help your child become the best version of their academic selves.
